Repair
Why repair
credit? Because bad credit results in you being denied additional
credit.
Many factors contribute to a bad credit rating. Among these are
non-payment of an account or late payments over an extended period of
time. Lenders are willing to work with individuals if the person
contacts the lender to let them know there are problems with meeting
payments.
How can you repair bad credit?
First, check your credit report(s) annually from the three major
provides: Experian, Transunion and Equifax. Make sure the reports are
current and correct.
Second, draft letters to credit card issuers to dispute negative items
on your report. Be sure to include your name, account number and any
supporting documentation you have available.
